You can add all the products and services which you purchase from your vendors by following these steps:
Go on purchase.
Click on product and services
System will move you to Product & Services listing page
Click on create new Product/Service
Mention the product or service name
Link the Product or Service with relevant expense categories from the drop.
You can set the unit price
You can add the sales tax, If it is applicable on this product. you will see the list of all the taxes which are available in the Akounto database or if you want to add a new sales tax then click on, add sales tax, provide the tax name, description, and tax percentage, and then click save.
After adding sales tax to the product, if you want to give a brief description about the product, you can mention it in the description input box then click save.
The product has successfully been updated in your records which you can see on the Product listing page.
